Publishing Producer at Xbox

From Wendy Rader

Community Director at Ander

May 24, 2018, Wendy managed Brandon directly

I have worked with Brandon as coworker and as having him as my direct report on the Xbox Production team, which released new content to millions of Xbox users. Brandon is a gem! He can work in multiple situations – taking lead where needed, delivery quality work, solutions-oriented, and easy to work with. He was very valuable to the team, taking on prominent projects and producing amazing experiences for the Xbox customers. Brandon is an asset to any team!

UX and Technical Producer/ Project Manager at Smashing Ideas

From Irina Smolyanskaya

Senior UX Designer

February 5, 2015, Brandon worked with Irina in the same group

As a technical producer, Brandon was an indispensable team member on the LeapFrog project. He is very effective in maintaining clear communication with the client and among the team members. As a designer on the project, I always had all the information I needed to proceed forward which greatly contributed to delivering designs on time. I would be happy to work with Brandon again.

From Aquilino Griffin

Engineering Manager at Moz

January 29, 2015, Aquilino reported directly to Brandon

As a technical producer, Brandon was invaluable to the company and the Leap Frog project. Specifically, I came into the project towards the end and needed to ramp up quickly. I found this process seamless, since Brandon had done a remarkable job creating technical and process documents. Furthermore, he was diligent in providing client feedback in a consumable way for the development team, as well as maintaining a manageable schedule.

I would strongly recommend Brandon for any project in need of Product Management expertise.

Mobile Producer and Release Manager at Big Fish Games

From Wade McMann

Sr. Game Producer/Publisher – Cartoon Network Digital

August 28, 2013, Wade worked with Brandon in different groups

Brandon and I started the mobile third party effort at Big Fish Games a few years back. I was in charge of porting 3rd party content onto iOS and building out best practices and he was in charge of wrangling all the various builds onto devices and distributing them. This was before we had any process or guidelines to follow. Brandon’s the kind of person who can manage an unknown quantity in terms of work flow and technology. As a team we shipped 50+ games together utilizing a network of almost as many developers. He works tirelessly; often in the evenings and weekends as the situation dictated–our developers worked all over the world in different time-zones and if we signed a game off on a Saturday he was always available to submit to Apple and work with the dev on any submission problems.

A great deal of what exists in the mobile build team at BFG was pioneered by Brandon (including a very cool build automation process).

Later he would join the Android team as a producer and we worked together again on a few projects where he produced the Android version and I the iOS version of a game. He was very easy to work with and we shared the same goals of releasing top quality content, fully localized, and clean as a whistle.

I fully recommend Brandon, his knowledge and work ethic are superior to most and he’s comfortable in an ever changing digital landscape–I also know he’s a really great guy, funny, and knows a ton about games because he plays all of them! I hope I get to work with him again in the future!

From Adam Dionne

Video game producer.

August 22, 2013, Adam worked with Brandon but at different companies

As the external producer for many of our Big Fish-published mobile titles, Brandon was an incredible help. At every step, he used the depth of his experience to improve not only the quality of our games but the processes that brought them to life. A keen change manager, he is able to introduce new systems and policies in a positive way and to help people to understand the reasons behind them.

On a personal note, Brandon is very outgoing, friendly and brings a great attitude to every interaction. I would recommend Brandon for any leadership position that will allow him to show off his creativity both as a game producer and as a problem solver.

From Julian Jones

Senior Product Manager

August 22, 2013, Julian managed Brandon directly

Brandon demonstrated great versatility, excellence and pride for his work during our time together at Big Fish. His broad experience, from content management to game design, enables him to navigate complex initiatives comfortably and with a clear understanding of how to produce business success. On my team, Brandon was the go-to person who spearheaded projects in content strategy, build automation, in in-app purchasing, and premium best practices. In Big Fish Studios, he produced the company’s first free-to-play game and managed our relationship with critical partners like Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Working with Brandon was one of the biggest joys of my time at Big Fish, and I happily recommend him!

From Nikka Lao

Brandon is always on top of things. Quick responses despite being in a different timezone, helpful, pro-active in helping us solve bugs and resolve issues, he’s definitely the contact person you’d want on the other side if you want to get things done quickly. His resourcefulness and willingness to help out in any capacity is very much valued by the team.

From Gabriel McArthur

Brandon is a passionate contributor, with a deep investment in getting the job done correctly and on time. I very much appreciated his feedback and product guidance as I was crafting an internal solution for Big Fish’s mobile games development. He is careful and considerate, making him someone who I would not hesitate to work with in the future.
